A Historic Country Church with Deep Roots in the Countryside

Pleasant Valley Country Church has been a quiet and meaningful part of the surrounding countryside since the late 1800s. The original church was established in the 1870s, serving generations of local families as a place for worship, music, celebration, and community gatherings.

In 1910, tragedy struck when the original church building was destroyed by fire. Determined to preserve the church and its place within the community, members came together to rebuild on the very same location. The present church, completed in 1911, continues to stand today as a testament to the resilience, faith, and dedication of those early rural families.

Over the decades, Pleasant Valley Country Church has weathered changing times while remaining a cherished gathering place in the peaceful countryside near Palmyra, Wisconsin. From weddings and hymn sings to community dinners, memorials, and evening Vespers, the church continues its long tradition of bringing people together in a setting filled with warmth, history, and simple country charm.
